I have finally seen the Sideshow Carnage and the XM Carnage in person. My thoughts. The Sideshow Carnage is ok. Easily recognizable as the character but the eyes easily pass over this piece so impression was meh. Axe hand borders on suck though.
And then the XM Carnage. Wow. Just wow. Detail. And the amount of work they put into the tendrils. Wow. I would easily put this statue up against any in terms of quality of work and presentation from any studio I have seen. Color me impressed. I can easily say the best Carnage to date and contender for ever. But who knows the future.

Great job XM. And I really like the original portrait transforming into Carnage. It's like an exclusive custom looking head that just comes with it. Wow. A Carnage above the rest!

To those that own this statue, how does the skin texture look in person? I have been considering selling my Carnage PF to fund this one, but the skin look kind of weird in photos, almost fibrous. However I know not everything comes out looking good in pics so perhaps the skin looks different in person?

It’s very organic looking and difficult to catch in photos. I also didn’t like it when I first saw it but I’m person this Carnage was excellent!
