I've always wanted a LiveAction version of the anime series as it would be similar to Battlestar Galactica. Someone point me to this Youtube video of a Japanese LiveAction clip. I recommend you checking it out, as it's pretty faithful to the anime.

I'd say it's bent like that to sell. ha hah! It actually is posed that way. The actual anime series is intentionally meant to be sexually charged.

Nice collection. Star Blazers was the sh*t. It had great action and a nice story line. That was my first intro into anime.
