Well I've started collecting comparatively recently. So I obviously want bishoujos of my favorites I couldn't get all those years ago. But I can see why version twos would rub the old collectors the wrong way.

If they're not gonna do WW, I'm happy to settle for Cheetah. As far as I know, Koto hasn't released her in any format yet.

I suspect Cheetah merch will flood the shelves when the movie comes out.

I can understand that, many old statues I missed that would like reprints. Power Girl got one this year so hopeful that Starfire and Wonder Woman get similar treatment.

Yeah. The two don't have to be mutually exclusive. Look at the new DC bishoujos this year so far... a brand new character (Katana), a version 2 (Supergirl)... and a reissue (Power Girl). I'm happy with that pattern. Let them continue on this track.

Tushar, you must love DC, then. They re-release statues so often that longtime collectors are angry at them!

Haha. I had no idea. There's still hope for me to get the ones I missed, then.

I'm curious, did they re-release anything last year?

Sort of.

Adam Hughes Cover Girls Wonder Woman ==> Designer Series Wonder Woman

Harley Quinn Injustice 2 statue in both RWB and full-color versions

2016 had more re-issues, though this year is up there as well with Jim Lee's 1/10-scale Trinity statues on the way again and the Mike Mignola Batman getting upsized.

Last year they had 2nd editions of Freddy and Jason from the bishoujo horror line. They have a solid metal base instead of the crap plastic with a metal strip of the 1st edition. Also the ArtFX Killing Joke Joker got a second edition with his foot on the old RedHood mask instead of the stupid wooden crate from the 1st.

I'm starting to not mind the pose on this new Supergirl, but I can't get over how awful her face is. It reminds me of a homely boy.

I actually just picked this up for free with eBay bucks. I like it a lot. Surprising how much the statue smelled like mothballs, though. It was new and from a large toy seller, so I doubt it was how it was stored (box didn't have a smell). It reminded me of my grandparents house.
