Man... I give up... i can't resist anymore...

I decided to only get the deluxes and omnibuses of Batman from now on, but i could only resist to not to read Batman for only 5 volumes and a few minis... I put all the Tynion run in to basket right now with some other minis.

Only thing stopping me is My Prime 1 Batman Hush Deluxe Statue arrival. I don't know what the customes tax for the statue will be... I have never tried to bring a statue this big and heavy before.

After the tax money will have been known for the statue and it was paid then i will definetly get all The Batman books from where i left.

Very good bro.

I have many single issues of this first Superman Batman series. It was pubished at a time when i was collecting single issues. (: The art and story were all pretty solid stuff as far as i could remember.

My first ever order from Amazon with my first credit card in 2003 was Superman Batman, vol. 1 HC anyway. I was so excited, finally the gates of comicdome was open to me. (: I even chose the fastest shipment. It came in 2 days... xD

Later on when i turned to single issues. I started to collect Superman Batman as well.

I don't collect single issues anymore, just HC for me now. I started collecting single issues in 2005 and I quit collecting single issues in 2008 or something like that. Never much in to single issues. Always prefered Deluxes, Absolutes and Omnibuses.

I can see your point and can understand wanting the collected editions. I still buy single issues and have to say I love them. Still brings the childhood thrill of getting new comics once a week. I will be honest though if had the money I would replace my single issues with Omnibuses and hardcover collected editions (not a fan of trade paperback's though).

Single issues cost too much now. (new comics are also terrible) TPBs are easier to read but omnis look great on a shelf and are the cheapest way to collect different runs.

I can agree about the expense. I think I am only buying 10 a month plus some mini series so maybe ups it to 13 or 14.

Yeah, Omnibuses for runs and Deluxes for Minis are amazing, but companies print them so late... The wait is a big problem, if you follow omnibuses and deluxes.
