overall i think its incredible, the purple hood isnt sitting right with me though even though i feel it should. just seems a little too light or clean or something, should be a little more tattered and dark perhaps?
edit: looking back at the concept art it was darker / tattered which made a big difference imo, still looks awesome though

For those interested...
Igo on FB when asked about the eyes lighting up...
"we are gonna try but if it makes the price go up too much we cant / wont do it. We wanted to keep the price under $1,000 so it probably wont happen."
Whatever they do, I'd suggest making the red eyes removable if they aren't already.

Overall, I really like the piece. Love the details on the armor. But, I have some nitpicks as well. His skull head looks a tad narrow for the body, not a fan of the fabric, and I don't understand the nipples. They're clearly sculpted on, but appear that they are trying to hide them by painting them the exact same color as the rest of the skin.

I think this looks really nice although I don't know if I am a fan of the fabric. I guess for life size, you'd probably want this though.

Some way this whole thing looks different than I expected from the teases so far. I still very much like it.

Yep I thought the hood would have more of a weathered/tatty look like the concept art.

The comics too. No real MOTU fan would discard the 02 MOTU as a pointless reboot, because it did more than any other 80s reboot to date in updating canon and character designs to another level while respecting the source material. They had an all star team with the Four Horsemen toy designers and the comic team fleshing out the story. Mattel disowned it after its commercial failure(unrealistic toy sales expectations).
As for the bust, it... looks nothing like the concept art. Sculpt looks too safe and symmetrical. Make a fully sculpted 1/3 bust identical to the concept, and we're talking.
