Coming Home - 9/10.

Wow, from 1978, can’t believe I’d never seen this before. Aside from the obvious and probably radical sex scene for the times, what a powerful anti-war movie.

Ready Player One

If you want it to be like the book... 2/10
If you watch it as it is and just have fun... 9/10

Ready Player One - 9/10

I haven't read the book, so I went in with no expectations and was very happy with what I saw. Spielberg at his best!

Certainly a much higher rating than I gave it.

Masculin FĂ©minin (1966) - A romance between young Parisians, shown through a series of vignettes.

I liked the movie more after watching the bonus features analyses on the DVD. The final scene with French pop star Chantal Goya was beautiful in its simplicity. 8/10

Ready Player One - 5/10 - All the fun references didn't help with the pacing issues and just struggling to connect with anything that was new within it. Pegg and Rylance were good, everyone else was okay.

This movie also had one of my biggest pet peeves in movies. When any movie opens with a prolonged narration exposition dump that 90% of it wasn't needed at all and other 10% could have been deciphered by paying attention it just feels condescending to the audience.
