I think she's a well-balanced statue. Sideshow is doing a great job reimagining these 80s animated characters. I do see the similarities it shares with Wonder Woman but like Taarna a lot more.

I'm still going to go on record that I believe there is no way SS is going to make her entire hair piece two halves that come together, with a seam, and extremely poor at that. If they do I will eat crow and return her.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

It tears me apart because as a french i am proud they chose to do this PF.

i anderstand the artistic choices, really. but the cons got it over the pros for me.

They had to add some appeal for nowadays standard (color chosen for her face and hair) and kept some back in the days for the body sculpt and outfit.
Her boots are really nicely designed and sculpted by the way.

Hard choices to do.

I can dig that. You can't just drop some coin on something in this hobby that interests you these days. This stuff has gotten pretty pricey.

What does being French have to do with it?

Maybe because Heavy Metal is the American version of Métal Hurlant magazine which is French.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

This is a painful pass for me. It looks great, and it's from a movie I really love. But the high price and it being just a random statue that won't fit in with any of the other statues I collect just makes me have to skip it =( If only more Heavy Metal characters had been announced, then I might be more willing to risk a purchase on this one...
