Pf and maquette is the same thing. None uses more parts. Exactly the same. Maquette is just a name for the next generation premium format going forward. Otherwise how can they justify prices going up? So the name will be it. Maquette! In 2020 might as well get rid of pf and call all of them maquettes.

I was thinking the same, the top of his helmet reaches 21-22 inches in height, while standing on a 2-3 inch base. Length from top of helmet to bottom of his boot looks about 23-24 inches. I would be disappointed if this statue was scaled as 1/5th. A while back, it was rumored the top of his left hand was at a height of 30+ inches.

Was discussed in the other forum with a couple of colour visual aids.

I firmly believe that whenever sideshow debuts a character as a PF, it should ALWAYS be in their classic costume. That will at least take care of the long time collectors sideshow has. After that first classic offering, sideshow can have at it with their sideshowified costumes and I personally wouldn't care so long as the classic PF turned out great.

yes this was discussed in other forum, he should be 28.5' tall at 1/4 scale (head to toe)
and only 22' tall at 1/5
and this is upright, with juggy all bent over its very misleading, if this statue was upright he would measure 22' tall ...maybe just over
but we should be getting a bigger statue, ESPECIALLY to justify the price tag

I’m not sure what everyone’s looking at but when you put it next to the other PFs that ssc has shown, it’s definitely 1/4 scale. I would probably be hesitant to buy it at $1390 but with $400 in points, it made it easier to buy this beast. I do think it’s really overpriced giving it’s priced over 1/3 scale Prime 1 statues which there are more bang for your bucks.

What’s being said is that Juggernaut’s official height is supposed to be around 9'5". Which equates to about 28.5” tall in 1/4 scale (but heights in comics are variable dependent on artist etc).
And honestly in those comparison shots with the others in the line I felt Juggernaut was on the small size for his character, and that was before anyone brought it up on the forums.
If you measure the promo photos using the statues physical height, and using that as reference to estimate the angled distance from his heel to his head (refer to the photos on the previous page) he’s about 22” which is only a bit above 7 feet tall. His bulk is certainly there, just not his height.
As such he’s much closer to 1/5 scale than he is to 1/4 scale. Just like Thanos on Throne is much closer to 1/3 scale than to the 1/4 scales of the Rogue and Magneto ‘Sideshow Maquettes’.
