The book was an instant sellout on all those major sites, just like The Colossal Conan the Cimmerian was the month before, so he's probably asking for smaller online (or brick and mortar) retailers.

Nice pickups. Have you read 52 before and would you recommend it? I recently picked up the rather obnoxiously massive Infinite Crisis, and am wondering whether 52 is worth the similar shelf space.

Yes, i recommend it. I also have 52 as single issues but i don't consider myself having it till i have it in the best format. The Booster Gold story in it was ok. Animal Man, Adam Strange and Starfire team up was yumdelichious amazing. Black Adam story is my favorite though, it was so good and ofcourse Question and Batwoman story was amazing as well. The main man Lobo found God... xD All the best of the industries writters teamed up on this orgininaly weekly series and it happened right after Infinite Crisis, it's a continuation to Infinite Crisis, actually.... After Infinite Crisis, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman decided to take one year off in 52 weeks series, this what the rest of the heroes did in their absance. You need this dude.

You sold me at "yumdelicious".

Thanks for the review man. Looks like I'll be adding another tome to the bookshelf.

Well I placed the largest order I ever have and probably ever will.

SO to back things up I got gift cards for a book store that is pretty big in Canada. Had $200 worth. They also have a loyalty program where you get points per dollar spent and I have $20 worth of points. SO I had that money on my account since Christmas as I know they often have a buy 2 get 1 free deal once in awhile on certain publishers like Marvel or DC and this never seems to exclude omnibuses.

So the other week I got the email showing their deal for the week and sure enough there was a buy 2 get 1 free sale but for ALL comics. My plans had gone out the window as I had selections in case of either publisher but both I just had too many choices.

I kept adding and removing from my cart trying to make my choices. Finally my wife (who knew what I was doing) was just like, you should really treat yourself and get a bunch of books. Now I have learned that if your significant other gives you the ok you take it!

So I ended up with the haul of my life! I got all these omnis:

- Punisher MAX vol 2
- Batman by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale
- Carnage
- He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
- Batman Knightfall vol 3
- The Sandman vol 3
- The Thanos wars: Infinity Origins
- Venomnibus 1
- Venomnibus 2

I did the math and it is clocking in at over 9700 pages of comic goodness!
