Witchblade
I believe every millenial who was into comics in the 90s is into Top Cow. the Heroes which were created in the 90s are our generation's heroes. They were big in the 90s.
I just found an old reivew of mine about the Witchblade, vol. 1: Witch Hunt TPB that i believe i forgot to post here. And here it is:
The build of this trade is hurrendous, it fell apart in my hands when i was reading... :/ Officer Sara Pezzini had an artifact of great power called Witchblade, she didn't know what excatly it was and how to use it and The Witchblade kind of had its own mind too... Having Wicthblade kind of started to ruin Sara's Life. Sara wanted her old life back before the Witchblade, but they seemed to stuck with each other.
The Story was basicly a classic heroic stuff of saving the world with horror elements and cops and priests. Sara Pezzini saved the world from some messed up cult of catholic priests in a catholic church in this volume. You know these 90s Image ,Top Cow heroes always have some christian mytholgy in their lore, Spawn, Witchbalde, Darkness, Magdalena all of them have this common theme going. The art was beautiful, but the writing was not there.

I just ordered the new reboot of Withblade series' first volume. (: It is written by Marguerite Bennett. I have never read anything from her before. And Giuseppe Cafarove is on the Art duty. I have never read anything that was drawn by him before as well.
It is exicting. I really wonder what they did with Witchblade.

Now in the early 2000s there was a JLA Witchblade crossover
I do remember reading it and I remember enjoying it. I don’t own it anymore. I don’t believe, but that was my only exposure to Witchblade.

Hey ! Marguerite Bennett is also the writer of Batgirls series which consists of 3 collected edition volumes. If i like her Witchblade, i will get her Batgirls books as well.

Marguerite Bennett is not the writer of Batgirls book... Backy Cloonan is the writer of the book.

I actually follow the new series and it started pretty bad for me until i came back a few weeks and read it again with a more open minded and fresh eyes; It can grow on you story wise but the art is something still not impressive enough or the voicing of characters seems abit subdued. But it is still early on and with Jackie coming in, I am kinda excited how things can really heat up since Ian Nottingham and Kenneth Irons are very much around. We ain’t getting the Microwave killer but a jumpstart of power tripping with the 3 gentlemen with Sara.
On the side note, Sara sleeps around casually seems to be an absolute an off characteristics of her and no real meaning to the ongoing series.

I am 3 issues in and oh boy... So much faminist anger. lol , but reading this, i understand why there are angry feminists because they believe men make women miserable and ruin their lives while men themselves are having it so good.
They are just not smart enough to realise men are miserable as well. No one is having it good. And lets be honest these women are fat. lol And the reason for this is ofcourse MEN !!! Men are forcing them to eat !!! They shove those donuts into these poor girls' mouths with their strong arms and force feed them againt their will !!! while all men have so healthy diets themselves on the other hand !!!! Those MEN !!! They are always having it so good while only the poor women are miserable !!!! lol
It is unfair !!! I am so angry to MEN RIGHT NOW !!!
