No no no....this is not by any means what you call a sleeper statue. That would fall more under a lesser known character like Lady Thor, or a C list character. Darkness is pretty well known by those exposed to the general comic world.
Judging by the different amount of people that commented about it on XM's facebook page (most of those posters don't come to forums)...there is nothing sleeper about it.

Hey !Thats cheap! The qualitiy of XM ist at least /mostly 10-20% better as the best sideshow statues; and there is about 30% more resin used. There is nearly always a maximum of only 1.000 statues produced. This is no mass product of 1.500 or even more. XM statues are extremely rare and price will raise extremely in a few years. Many billionaires want this statue then. And there wont be better statues or quality in the future. And if it is probably sold out soon, you have a grail and can also make much money when selling it to these billionaires then. Look at ebay and other forums. XM statues sell as crazy, just those few I saw dont sell at all. XM is high end quality made by a sculptor and painter very close and near to you. And I am 17,48% sure this company is the grail company even in 3 years. I just cant understand. It is a bargain!  ...ok I stop the irony... lets go to real:

Never heard of "Darkness storyline" before. I think Clayburn Moore made a nice one too quite some time ago. Darkness is anyway one of the better ones XM has produced so far in my eyes^^.
Just still not sure about the pricing of this company. But it really looks good.
