the og designs had a much more imposing proportions, they truly looked like monsters walking the face of the earth. also specifically to 00 and especially 02 the heads were a much better design imo

i'm honestly just super happy that at least we're getting something instead of nothing. the difference in designs aren't that significant enough to bother me as i'm just happy to at least get something finally!

I'm ecstatic that P1 went with the rebuild designs. I love the original series but I find the newer designs Eva and pilot-wise more appealing. Not to mention, the rebuild series has more of a character/ Eva roster than the original. Which means more statues!

I don't think I've ever seen an anime thread. And I just started paying attention to Prime 1 with the Evangelion announcement.

As much as I like anime, almost none of it is recent, and I can't think of too many that I'd want statues of. A Unit 01 however, has been my most wanted statue since getting into this hobby. So yeah, at the end of the day, despite being disappointed with Rebuild, I probably won't be able to pass this up.
