I ordered the NYCC exclusive and I now see them up at retailers for preorder. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the NYCC and the edition being solicited for preorder?

NYCC gets poster and bottom of statue saying NYCC. We also get ours 3-4 months earlier. 100-125 ES. This is from me talking directly to Alex on FB PM's.

The one up for preorder now is just the statue with regular base :whatever is printed on the bottom.

It's a separate smaller ES
You get the print
Bottom of the base graphic is different I think
And you get them sooner - they've already started production and supposedly coming this summer.

I love this one and Tony Cipriano is one of my favorite sculptors but damn this thing is huge. I am getting Atlantis and DD but I'm afraid I may have to pass on this one, mainly due to space.

Updated sculpt and now for sale without the cats, as per FB. I admit though the face seems to have lost something in the new pics.

Really like the new face. The original was way too plain.

I actually greatly preferred the older sculpt. I think it fit better with the piece and her expression made her role as the hunter fit more. She looked serious and ready to go. The new face almost looks emotionless and it lost the Asian vibe (though that may have been unintentional to begin with). I'm glad I hadn't preordered yet. I wish they would offer the original portrait for those who would prefer it. I never like it when these companies make major changes and just assume everyone will want that change.

Agreed. I think the original was better. The new portrait doesn't fit the feel of the piece or original artwork. Something in between the two would have been better. I think the new one is too much of a deviation.
