Oh yes I forgot wolf too. Yes I took a gamble on that one and it was a sure bet he would come down. But it's really the one that proved me wrong. But only because SS stop production early.

Just for giggles, I thought I'd try his trick of "not quite finishing" an order on THIS.
Got a 10% off voucher (previously got a 20% off on the P2 thanks to Col).

Oh what's this? I want to try it. Where's the steps?

That would be my reasoning I guess.

I get your reasoning - but I always thought it was attached firmly to his head (you hear the suction release in both Predator and Predator 2), and I've never seen a still that shows that
It's fine if folks are OK with it though. That's the thing, stuff like this will bug some of us and not others.
If it was JUST this, I'm sure lots of folks would overlook it, but once you add up all the issues, that's why so many who would ordinarily have bought, have decided to pass.
For me, at the end of the day, I simply do not need another "average looking" / "not quite right" P1. Not even with the 10% discount they offered me
For those folks who haven't got the 2006 SWS piece and/or don't mind the issues identified, I'd say go for it. As long as you will admire it once delivered, it's worth it.

You must travel to the top of the mountain, nude, with an egg. Once you have reached the peak you myst spin the egg thrice. Then you must answer the riddle of the egg, and you shall reap the reward.

Not sure what triggers it for some people and not for others, but this is what I did.
- View the item, hit the green "preorder" button.
- Wait for 5 mins or so.
- I then opened up another Sideshow item in another tab.
- I immediately got the pop-up asking for my email address to redeem the 10% discount on the maquette.
- Entered my email address, got the email with the discount code about 3 minutes later.
- Clicked on the link, signed in to my account, and the code was populated for the order.
The only thing I DIDN'T do was then click on the green "Place my order" button

What's ALSO interesting is that since it's a 10% discount and the NRD is 10% - they cancel one-another out so my order would be placed and ZERO would get charged at this point.
So I could then sit back with an EX secured and cancel at the last minute if nothing has changed with what will be delivered.
However - since we already know that nothing WILL be changed, there's little point

Good point.
Yeah, too many flaws on this maquette aswell.I thought I could live with a flawed predator maquette but ultimately I sold my P2 maquette after I had'm several weeks on display.I won't repeat the same mistake again.
To me this new P1 maquette is the complete opposite of their first Winston maquette. That one had dead on accuracy in every department but the pose was a mess. The new one has a great stance imo but lacks in everything else.(accuracy, proportions, likeness)After all these years I can't believe we still haven't got a perfect high end representation of the iconic movie monster!
