Weird because Jerry said on that video that he was just about ready to ship, so why is it now another year away?
When was he scheduled to ship originally?

Yeah, I thought that myself, maybe the regular on the site now is a later batch or something? I believe he was originally due to ship this month? At least he's up again for those who want him, it may be the regular, but the regular is the best pose anyway imo and the one I'll be sticking with mostly, looks awesome.

Well we ordered Darkness Q4 2014 and still don't see shiny pants in the sample pictures!

Long wait times don't make me not want a piece, however there is a NEW emotion associated with the piece that was a direct result of the (extended and in some cases unreasonable) wait period.
The extended wait times inject a feeling of dissatisfaction not with the pieces itself but the experience of acquiring the piece that unfortunately is now associated with the piece.

I suspect that shipping date may be incorrect, he mentioned in the video it's close to shipping, and that was a production sample on display at the show. Hopefully Jerry will chime in soon to offer confirmation on changes to the production piece and the shipping date etc.

Interestingly, Darkness has gone back up for PO also with a shipping date of Q3, 2017.

I emailed customer service for some clarification. If they get back to me before someone else clarifies the ship date I'll post what they tell me.
