It is wrong, lol

I don't want pieces of my statue that will decay or warp, and feathers would do both (let alone any color shifts)

It's a much older line, a lot of statues back then aren't up to the quality of nowadays. I'm sure the same will be said in the future about statues now :P

Not really. The sculpts were bad to begin with. Paint applications and quality control have improved over time as have the materials used, but people have been capable of doing nice sculpts on statues for thousands of years.

Some are nice, but they were a lot simpler. I mean you can look at the old SS ones, they are pretty simple too ;p Some still look pretty damn good, but they are definitely less detailed.

well, at least they can make the feathers more realistic instead. but yeah, maybe they just want to stick to the artwork.
