I partially understand your point. Genisys is an awful movie. It just sucked. But this endo here from Cinemaquette is awesome & beautiful. Just try to forget the movie and behold this endo as what it is: an asset to everyone's Terminator collection if not even a center piece.

Yes sounds fair to me, so long as the instructions are clear on what to do the parts fit ok then fine. Sideshow one the legs were too tight for my liking and it didn't want to fit without some force and the fear of course of causing damage. Onwards and upwards with this one hopefully no parts missing and all will be well upon arrival if the packing is good enough. Cheers once again.

Thank you very much, yes I agree not the best movie but I am sure to really enjoy this piece I suspect for a very long time to come and will certainly be one of the center pieces of the collection. Thank you again for your advice.

Can you not see the hyperbole and extreme exaggeration in your comment equating wearing gloves while handling them to treating them like "the holy grail"?

For ----'s sake, how often are you touching your statues that putting on gloves is that big of an inconvenience for you? All this comes down to is you acting like wearing gloves is some horrendously arduous task that you simply don't want to perform. If you can afford a $10,000 statue, you can afford the time and patience to treat it like a $10,000 statue.

With that being said, it's your money. Your statue. Do with it what you will. I don't particularly care. But hopefully now you'll understand why people do wear gloves when handling them.

What does this have to do with anything? Yes, the person handling my food should wear gloves. That does not contradict anything I've stated.

You keep belittling these pieces as "toys" and "mass-produced chunks of plastic from China". If that's all they are to you, why are you spending thousands of dollars on them?

Yeah you just persuaded me and I wanna join this religion, but I have a few additional questions so please fill me in.
Do I have to bring the gloves to a certain temperature before I put them on to caress my statues? I mean, do I have to put them in the refrigerator or the oven beforehand? And what about when visitors come to my house? It is obvious that it's my responsibility to make sure, there are always enough gloves available right at the entrance, but at what time do I read the rules to the visitors? Oh and lately I heard Dr. Fauci (another guru but from a different brand) recommending to wear 2 masks at the same time to have better protection in the current pandemic. I really don't want those microscopic matters you mentioned above, contaminating my beloved statues. So how many gloves do I wear? 2 ? Even more? Oh and sorry to call them just statues. Shame on me! How diminishing. They are our babies of course....our "preciousssssssss". Hey we could also set a new fashion trend on Youtube by wearing colour matching gloves to each different statues...pardon me...babies. There are different colours available aren't there? I mean how boring to wear just white gloves when handling a black Batman Premium Format. Ewwww....Blasphemy !
Or what about latex gloves instead of just simple cotton gloves? Wouldn't that be simply awesome? I could look like a brain surgeon wearing them. So distinguished and even more important....

Nah...I'm messing with you. Look, you seem to be a decent guy, taking your time to make your point here. I'm being honest with you: even I wore these gloves in the past. They hand them out at the casinos in the old part of Las Vegas to prevent gamblers from getting black hands when gambling at the traditional slot machines.
You obviously take our hobby more serious than I do and I fully respect that. Until now when I saw guys wearing gloves on Youtube, unpacking their latest hauls, it just looked totally ridiculous to me. I understand your point now and it's cool with me.

Why worry about damage, it's just "junk" after all right?

No dealer is going to open these up and inspect them anyway. They wouldn't take the time or want to be responsible for causing any issues unless the boxes look like they fell off a building.
