No it is just the angle of the photo, on the other multiple screenshots that are available it looks perfectly fine

At that angle the knee looks weird. Her face looks more aggressive compared to the proto. It's all down to lighting and camera, probably.
Compared to the JND Harley, which photographed well no matter how poor the camera/lens/lighting was, i am not quite getting the same smashing it out the ball-park with Mera. Time will tell.

I think she looks better with her crown on, just adds a little more to the overall piece, like the infinity bust

Seems like one of their better pieces.

Really?
The skin texture looks over done. It might be the camera/lighting ?

To my eyes, the skin texture is about the same as Harley. And definitely, the lighting is having a major effect on how this piece looks.

The lighting is more particularly harsh with this piece, compared to most of the others on display.

And yet, these photos (to me) make this look more like Heard than JNDs official shoot did. At least from the full face shots.
I'd always felt the likeness was excellent in 3/4 and profile views. This is the first time I'm seeing a stronger resemblence head on- but the caveat is still there.
There is almost certainly still some lens distortion going on. That is probably what is nudging the features and face shape away from the direction that looked off to me in the JND photos.

And yeah, still Barbie-level doll hair.
I hate to keep harping on that point, as it is what is is, and for all these pieces it will never be anything different.

Which is a shame to me, since this will always be one glaring area that keeps these from being the "perfectly" exquisitely crafted representations they otherwise are.
Thinner fiber, organic animal hair would make a huge difference when you look at these years down the line and assess their quality compared to what will be coming down the pike then.
They'll still look "nice", but that hair will always be a "if only..." limitation.

Thanks for the photos, cocomunk22!
