Disturbing movie. It's as much as I would generally give a single-white-female stalker-type flick. However, the topic felt quite timely and sad.

A cursed film apparently, but so beautiful. For lovers of the English language, Sean Penn, Mel Gibson, and of course Natalie Dormer.

Searching for Bobby Fischer - 8/10. I can't believe this movie is 27 years old - just rewatched it and it is still pretty entertaining (and ok for kids). A lot of recognizable faces too.

Appleseed Ex Machina (2007) - With Brialeos convalescing after a mission, Deunan is assigned a new and remarkably familiar partner as a strange wave of terrorist attacks plague Olympus. 5/10
While the computer-generated animation style is considered revolutionary, it didn't appeal to me. It felt like I was watching a video game. The stories were just okay.

Blood: The Last Vampire (2000) - Saya is a Japanese vampire slayer whose next mission is in a high school on a US military base in 1960s Japan, where she poses as a student.
I gave this one final screening before selling my Blu-ray copy, but it was better than I remembered. So much so that I decided to keep it and may even add it to my annual Halloween movie list. 7/10
