The statue's arachnid eyes will even be interchangeable. Go from the classic squinting eyes, which make him look as if he's suspicious of Dr. Octopus or the Green Goblin lurking in a back alley somewhere, to the more open expression when he's just chilling on a rooftop 40 stories above New York City.

He looks pretty good, I can even live with the mixed media, seeing as it's 1:2 scale. One thing I'd like would be a CoH with Romita style eyes. Not a fan of those pictured here.

Edit: Just read in the article that he will come with interchangeable eyes. Fantastic news. Cannot wait for more pics from the SDCC floor!

Well imo the positive thing going with mixed with the costume is that the black spider web lines will hopefully be impeccable and not have the problems that can sometimes occur when they're painted.

But at the same time I really hope it doesn't (though I doubt it will at this scale) have the issue with an ugly and exposed stitched seam line that the 1/6 Hot Toy figures have on their masks on Spidey's head.
