Video game statues are unfortunately a lot less popular, generic looking characters even more so

Drake statue
Hey Folks,
I had originally set the number at 1500 over a year ago when I started working on this statue, but due to a number of factors, I decided to reduce the edition size. 1500 was a bit optimistic for a videogame collectible of that scale. We currently have roughly 500 pre-orders and while I feel we could probably hit the 1000 mark eventually, the Uncharted team and I felt that we'd rather make the statue more exclusive and that the sweet spot a lot of other collectible companies look to hit is 750. I know that a lot of collectors like to wait until they see reviews or unboxing videos before purchasing, which is completely reasonable, but I wouldn't wait too long after they start coming out, because there's not going to be a lot of excess inventory, and thanks to our partnership with Sideshow, we are shipping to more regions.
Thanks, and I hope you enjoy this statue!

Thanks! I appreciate that. I am learning a lot from the collectors on this forum and I'm doing my best to make products I think you'll like. I really wanted to go with a dynamic action pose and I think Naughty Dog nailed it.

Looks great - i think the franchise popularity peaked a few years ago. Getting ES right with videogame properties is always a challenge unto itself.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Any news on the release date? Has this been pushed back now? Has anyone seen production pics?

Just received mine...
Here my first impressions
Have to say that the diorama itself is kind of awesome, the dynamic pose is really hot, and this is definitely in Uncharted spirit... Big thumbs up to the sculptor for that.
But.... But........
A couple of things arrived broked (belt, glass) , which appear to be a common thing if you check around the web. Some can be reglued, but other are just impossible. I asked for a replacement part, and I'm waiting for some news.
Sorry to tell you guys but we are far far far from the prototype, paint job is really bad, I'll take some pictures later today to show you. The assembly was kind of tricky too, and I could'nt fit the foot into the base properly, and the hand with the shotgun doesn't fit properly
It makes me wonder if the QC step has been skipped...
Does any body else receive theirs?

On the last picture you posted, the paint job on the sleeve looks like it got that way by rubbing the box. I can’t believe it was painted that way from the start but who knows

It looks sloppy, at least when magnified on the photos.
