I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Ok...I scored a Vader I off ebay for $1284. The seller stated the statue is in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the styrafoam has rubbed off the paint on Vader's cape. There's an inch wide horizontal mark, for lack of a better description. I told the seller I was unhappy and they offered to knock off $200. Is this acceptable as excellent condition and am I being too picky? Is it common to have the styrafoam rub off the paint. This statue did not come with any tissue protecting it from the styrafoam that I am accustomed to.
So, do I send the statue back and keep hunting for one in excellent condition, or do I accept the $200 discount making it $1084 and call it a day?
Finally, if I wanted to commission someone to touch up this statue, does anyone have any recommendations or any idea how much something like that would cost?
Thanks in advance.

Had many Attakus Vaders pass by trough my hands. All of them had some of what you are refering. I say $200 back it's a very good discount for what it is.

I agree, this is the best Vader statue out there! Waiting to see how good the GG's Vader kneeling looks?
