I just have 21 Omnibuses so far. (i don't count my Starman Omnis and Fourth World Omnis since they are at regular HC hight and thin.)
You can show your DC Absolutes and Omnibuses shelfs at DC Omnibus thread, you know. I would like to see them.

rocket that's how my shelves looked when I realized I haven't read even 2/3rds of them.So I decided to sell them all and still selling.

Yup, same here. I had every big Marvel/DC book published up to January 2016, but had read even less than that, so I made up my mind to stop buying and start selling.
I did stop buying, but the sheer number of books to sell is so big that I still have to get around to making a listing and can't seem to find the time. Gah.

Why do you store them horizontally and not vertically. Not easy to get to ones on the bottom and I would say it’s probably not good for them to lay flat.
Did a little research. Although it said books can lay flat I also read “don't stack books that are lying flat more than a few high,. this can crush spinesl.
