Level 52 Studios
level 52 studios has another project coming soon. This one is called "Cursed and Cruel". Sculpted by Rhett Mason and concept art by Icarus Hall. A line of desktop statues but limited, . I think this will be PVC, but I wish it would have been in polystone
Can't wait to see it in its finish stage..

Why?? Chris, among others, explained the pros and cons of polystone, resin and PVC brilliantly and to me polystone has no more value than the other types of material you can use to make a great statue.

People even get angry if their polystone statue doesn't weigh a ton. The ability to kill someone via swinging the statue is very important to many collectors, shipping cost be damned!

No one wants them to be eggshell thin. They break way easier. I have one PVC statue. I like it, but it has a plastic toy-like sheen. I certainly would have never paid a polystone price for it. I actually avoid polystone for my decorative statues downstairs and stick with bronze or real stone.

Its not the value of the material I'm concerned with, its more of how PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is the most toxic plastic for health and environmentally. Also, it isn't a material that stands up to time. PVC is known to warp over time.

I have some of those PVC statues too. SO if I can avoid it, I will
