Todd McFarlane is a evil genius, he was way ahead of his time as an artist in comic books he drew like in The Amazing Spider-Man and Spawn. But he made toys not statues right? So they aren't on the same level IMO, sure you can pose them differently but they have toy limbs like old school GI Joe's from the 80's. But the guys company made so many things movie related that I'm not sure if any are pieces of art like what Sideshow or other statue companies make sculpting wise. I know there are beautiful pieces they made for Spawn limited edition pieces but most things are toys, maybe I am wrong not sure. Oh and The Walking Dead statues of Negan, Rick Grimes and the new Daryl statue with him on a motorcycle that will be out this Winter I believe.
Until I see more picture when it's available for PO I'll judge the quality it has, I'm hoping for the best though. The new Freddy was kinda disappointing to be honest but this is the original Leatherface, any TCM fan of the original wants this to be a success. But $500+ bucks for a PF that doesn't have an EX will be a HUGE disappointment. But only time will tell. I gotta be less harsh towards SS as I have been in other posts I made on here. They deserve a chance to correct the past.
