I made this for a friend's nephew aged 7.

T-shirt markers on children's white t-shirt.

Nicely done! You've a lot of talent there my friend! Does your job have anything to do with art? Curious!

Hi Jollyskeleton,

Actually, I worked in sales and marketing for more than 5 years, and the things I do did not have anything to do with my talent.
It's quite a waste.

I studied Information Technology to get an advanced diploma in I.T.
Then, I studied management and marketing to get my bachelor of commerce.
After that, I was whisked into the world of business.Doing sales and marketing.

But, I still found time to draw and practice.
Haha!

wow. Indeed its a waste of talent, but us being asians, its still better to hold a stable job huh. Hehe. good that you found time to practice. You can have a sideline designing t-shirts, and selling your art! Who knows, maybe one day you'll start a business of your own. lol

I was commissioned to paint this for a girl. She was born in the year of the Tiger. 2010 is the year of the tiger and she wanted a customized t-shirt.

The tiger picture that I initially had in mind was a real tiger. But she had a better idea, and asked me to paint this tiger instead and add the ancient Chinese word for "Tiger".

I think this picture would look good as a tattoo also.

I had a lot of enthusiasm doing this one. Each day I would look forward for the dawn of the next day to continue working on it. That's because after I finished applying some colours on it the night before, I have to wait for it to dry before applying another different colour. Or else I run the risk of getting the colour bleeding into each other. Here, you can see I tried to make some of them bleed together to make a lighter tone. The yellow and orange to make a ligther orange.

I just hope it fits her. :-)

Thanks, Jollyskeleton.

I've never seen that ancient word either. Not that I know of any of the ancient Chinese characters.

She found it on the internet and asked me to paint it on. Haha.

I did this a long time ago. Probably in 2000 or Year 2001. This is Siu Li, one of the members of Urban Babes; a local version of Charlie Angels, sort of. Made with photoshop and a digital tablet. I never finished it and just left it as this.

Little Tiger I made for a friend to be used as an avatar. Hand drawn, inked and than painted in photoshop. My inking is not smooth enough. Next time, I'll draw to draw it in vector graphic ala Illustrator instead.

Original illustration was from the DVD cover art for a local Chinese movie called Woohoo! I reproduced it.
