The problem with Touch of Ice was that it was so tiny--what was it, 1/8 scale? And the kneeling pose made it look even smaller. Thankfully these Greek mythology figures are in 1/6 scale.
I wonder why Yamato hasn't released Touch of Ice in a larger scale--they'd probably make quite a bit of money.

It was about 1:8. I first saw it as a garage kit (before I knew anything about such things) and got a kit. It was only later I realised I couldn't paint it properly myself and looked for a ready painted one. That was when I discovered the original, and was hooked with Yamato's statues.

Richard

That is good news. Yamato announced release dates seem somewhat flexible. How long has the 'Dancer of Pain' been 'Due for release Next Quarter'? Several years I think.

I think the reason Yamato is accurate with their dates is because they announce their pre order when they are close to finishing production. Most companies announce pre order before even entering production so the release is complete speculation and as we continue to see, completely off the ETA first quoted.

I think the Dancer of Pain was cancelled. I think.
The delay this time for Hera was due to the strike at the LA ports. They're demanding more money as usual.
