Scored the Scout Trooper Speederbike PF!

Always wanted this piece but was afraid to buy from the secondary market due to fears with shipping.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

The Speeder Bike Pf was one of those pieces that was panned in 2007-2008 At first was a hit, but when it shipped in 2008 many canceled, I kept my order. Then SSC had it in stock for years, I was able to get a second one on ebay for $550.00. Now these days it's wanted.
Those were the days, was so much excitement for Star Wars in polystone between PF and dioramas.

It's interesting how that happens. This piece came out in 2008 with a price tag of $799. Quite expensive for the time.

In my opinion, the best days for an Original Trilogy collector are behind us. Long gone are the days of Master Replicas producing studio scale vehicles, light sabres etc. We now have to reply on non-licensed prop makers to produce the most film accurate replicas.

Being a Star Wars collector who can look back at the what's come, allows you to chose the very best pieces to add to your collection.

For me, the Scout Trooper on Speeder Bike is one of the best Star Wars statues ever made.

Is that that Jabba the hunt dog from return of the Jedi? Didn't even know they had a lifesize. After I bought the JC Penny's life-size Anakin for 1400.00, and when I decided to not collect props anymore. I sold it for 500.00. No thanks on all life-size sw stuff. If I do buy props from sw, I will buy them aftermarket for 60-70% off.

Definitely with people paying these prices, it will only go up from here in house paint or not. It shows that collectors are willing to pay up.
