Zenescope is a comics publisher based in Pennsylvania. Their primary focus is on re-interpreting public domain fairy tales, folklore, classic literature, etc. in a contemporary context.
Earlier this year, they launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the manufacture of "bishoujo"-style PVC statues. (In the past, they worked with Phicen to create
1/6-scale figures.) The first character to be interpreted this way will be Sela Mathers, Zenescope's version of Snow White and basically the most important heroine of the Grimm Fairy Tales universe. It looks like Zenescope plans to make both full-color and B&W versions of the statues. They will be available at
