Not impressed. Zenescope uses a variety of talented guest artists for their covers and these are meh interpretations. I guess they saw the Sideshow JSC statues and realized there is a demand for sexy fairy tale figures. Zenescope would have been better off making either better quality, more detailed figures based on the guest cover artists or having their line produced by Diamond under their lower peiced PVC Femme Fatale line.

At about $100, are these PVC or resin?

I asked Zenescope about Robyn Hood, and they said that they're pushing back the Kickstarter until 2019 so that they can do more work on the Sela/Snow White statue.

I pick up these covers sometimes, but I'm a sucker for cheesecake.

What scale are these statues and are they selling them on their website or only on kickstarter?

Earlier this year, they launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the manufacture of "bishoujo"-style PVC statues. (In the past, they worked with Phicen to create 1/6-scale figures.) The first character to be interpreted this way will be Sela Mathers, Zenescope's version of Snow White and basically the most important heroine of the Grimm Fairy Tales universe. It looks like Zenescope plans to make both full-color and B&W versions of the statues. They will be available at www.zenescope.com.

I cannot find scale, but my guess is idea that they are same size Kotobukiya Bishoujo statues.

Wow these are great ideas. No way I'll join a kickstarter though.
I'm reluctant to pledge money via Kickstarter, too, though I think Zenescope is being fair with their fanbase by offering lots of extras for their pledges.

When you wait to buy the statues from their website, those extras won't be available or will be separate costs.

Based on this picture in the OP, I think these will be on the small side, no more than 1/8-scale. I would not be surprised if they were even smaller, about the size of the DC Artists Alley figures.

If they were 1/6 I would be tempted... but if their smaller I'll probably pass..
