Superman Man of Steel by Moebius and Galloway
I was blown away by this new entry into the series by Moebius. Finally another must-buy for me after Bruce Timm's Supes.
DCC also revealed Sean Cheeks Galloway's version. It's done well, but not my cup of tea.
This one still hurts:

Maybe it's just me but this entire line is horrible.

The Superman vs the Barman and Wonder Woman series seems to be the most pick and choose of the bunch. That design on the Gary Frank (a great artist) is really BAD! The Moebius looks pretty sharp to me.

While some pieces are better than others, I'm not at all drawn to this series either.

Worst part about it is I'm a much bigger Superman fan than Batman so I want this series to be good. But I currently have 6 Batman B&W and can't see myself getting one of these Superman ones. Even the Wonder Woman series has a piece or two that I would get.

somehow I missed this thread...
anyways just saw the Moebius in the Nov solicits. I guess its a decent enough piece but I just don't get this line. All the iconic artists they can draw from and they seem to just be spinning their wheels here. Both the Moebius and the Galloway pieces are easy for me to pass on...
...the Frank one has got to be a joke product...err, right?

I'm with you. I have a hard time even looking at them.

Rocafort and Timm are the only redeeming pieces in this line IMO. Everything else, I'm fine if they didn't exist

The Frank Quitely and Lee Bermejo statues are amazing. And I'm probably in the minority who really likes the Rags Morales Superboy. Rocafort is nice but he seems a juuust a little small next to the rest. The most recent batch has me shaking my head though.
