Problem with Larry Stroman Commissions

I'd avoid artists that people constantly complain about. I've never had any experience with Larry Stroman but having read all the negative feedback, when I saw him post, I just kept scrolling.

With that said, March wasn't that long ago and you can get your refund through PayPal as he pointed out. Just dispute and you'll get your money back, why such an outrage for 6 weeks of waiting?

Yeah, there are more people like this in the hobby than you would expect, sadly. Dealing with 2 new ones right now. Communication is immediate at the start, emails/messages answered right away, then as soon as payment is sent and the promised delivery dates comes and goes they magically disappear and its radio silence. Known, published Marvel/DC artists.

I named a bunch of them a while ago but had my post edited by mods >_>

I'd say try doing business through reps/big name sites but even that isn't a guarantee, but it's more likely you'll be able to contact someone if things go South.

So, good luck out there I guess, hope you get your refund.

yep, still well within your paypal window. i've been tempted by these cheap Stroman pieces but too many horror stories.

just file a paypal dispute and call it a day.
