Walking Dead is an awesome read--I didn't catch it until the first trade was out, either, so now I'm just doing that. I got to meet Kirkman at the SDCC, too, and had him sign a bunch of stuff. Talk about a great guy--just really down to earth, not putting on airs of any sort. Just as an example, he was on his cel when I walked up to his booth, and he smiled and held up one finger in a "this will just be a minute" gesture. And then when about a minute had passed (apparently the person on the phone was tough to lose!), he smiled at me, shook his head, and mouthed "I'm really sorry". It wasn't a big deal, but you know, common courtesy is sometimes in short supply at the Cons, especially from someone whose star is rising. So it was cool.

I'd love an Absolute Preacher set, too, but man, would that be an investment. I'd probably still make it (and sell my trades to do it), but it would be painful.

I'm sure they'll be doing an Absolute Superman/Batman and an Absolute Dark Knight Returns (1&2?) at some point too--seems like a given.

On the Marvel side, I'd love to see something similar to the "Absolute" treatment for Astonishing X-Men.

this is an awesome format and i own several (planetary, authority, jla/avengers), and have preordered crisis, batman hush, and watchmen.

titles i would love to see would be Darwyn Cooke's brilliant New Frontier, Loeb and Sale's Batman A Long Halloween & Dark Victory, and i also vote for Preacher.

Hahah, I bet they will probably combine DKR 1&2 in order for ANYONE to actually pick up part 2, LOL!!

I'm down for the Absoulte Watchmen as well.
I'm with you on NF getting the Ab Treatment. Great series.

Dana! I totally agree. If you read the intro to my reviews from last week you'll see New Frontier just walked off with two Harvey Awards for excellence! This is one of the single best series to be produced by any publisher at any time!

Since DC have the license to these series as Wet works and so on.

I would like AE's of these.

Wild Cats wich is actualy planned to be relased, I hope its the first series and it will get release in chronologicaly order.

Also I would like Wet Works AE.

Deathblow AE.
