Comic long boxes - has anyone tried the slide out kind

I have sold all but 3 sets of books and was thinking about buying the long boxes that slide out like a file drawer. I was wondering if any fo you have tried these and if so what did you think.

Here is a link to the site that sells them so you can see what they are like.

I recently purchased 50 and converted my whole collection over to the drawer boxes. Every comic collector should own these. They do everything that they say on the website. I have a whole wall lined with these, 10 long by 5 high.

Do they hold more then the web site says or less? The last 3 sets of books that I have is a complete Daredevil, Captain America, and Iron Man run and I know that one set of books will take more the one box.

I really want to do this but it is too expensive for a mass transfer (more than I want to spend for comics).

These hold less than a regular comic box right? Anyone know how many less than a regular box?

I have my whole collection in these, too. They're AWESOME. Totally worth the cost. I love 'em, sincerely.

They're not much shorter than standard longboxes--2-3 inches, if memory serves. But the gain in usability more than makes up for that, for sure.

My friend's comic shop changed over to these for their back issue bins, and it works really nicely, too.

I can completely recommend these without hesitation.

what an endorsement Teauge ... I am trying to figure out how many to get. In your estimation, would 11 of these hold 10 regular boxes worth of books? ballpark? more, less?
