I didn't think it was possible but Laurel is getting even more annoying. I'm hoping after the development in the final seconds of this episode she will cease being such a sad sack character. She is the only aspect of this series that feels tacked on. If they can't do something interesting with her I really hope she gets killed off.

The aspect of this episode that really shocked me was Amanda Waller's move to put together the Suicide Squad. I wasn't expecting to see that in this series at all. Very cool development.

Laurel reminds me of Lana from Smallville in the later seasons (after season 4) when she started to become annoying...

Laurel is to whiny and I'm getting sick of her feeling sorry for herself all the time... IMO you could get rid of the character and it wouldn't have any impact on the show..

I'm hoping they develop some sort of high tech collar to go on Black Canary that can give her the high pitch screams instead of the hand held device she's using right now, it's kind of lame...


Otherwise Arrow is a solid 9/10 so far...

I agree. Laurel's character needs to go! All she does is whine and cry! And there is a major difference in the way she looks. I didn't find her that bad on the eyes last year but now her chin is looking really prominent.

On a side note... Nyssa was hot!

Yeah, that's what I'm noticing too. Her face looks so elongated. She didn't used to look like that.

And yeah, Katrina Law (Nyssa) is hot. Another welcome former Spartacus cast member.

In regards to Canary's sonic device; I kind of like it as a hand held grenade type weapon myself.

My wife and I noticed that as well. She is looking unhealthily skinny IMHO.

I noticed this too. maybe she's got an eating disorder? She used to look healthy now she's looking rather frail

I noticed that too. She looks different then she did in season 1 and a lot different then she did on Supernatural.

I can't stand her character anyway, she drags the show down whenever she's on.
