I don't even watch this show, but after hearing about the season finale I can't help but want to know how it all resolves for a new season when the main character of the show has been apparently

I was shocked but then realised that Ra's has been fighting and training for centuries, for someone like Arrow, or even Batman to beat him, they'd have to be phenomenally gifted with raw ability.
Very impressed, not such a fan of the reasoning behind Canary's killer's actions, but still a great show to watch, and it got me into Flash as well which is also fun viewing!

This is my problem with a lot of DC properties, film and comic. GA was only gone for 5 years with and likely trained intensely for 2 of them. Yes he was learning survival tips here and there but he was not constantly training every day. Same thing with Thea. She was only training with her dad Merlin for 6 months and she comes back as a highly trained fighter. It's still my favorite TV show but I cringe on the inconsistencies.

Yeh there's a lot of suspending disbelief, even for a show about a man dressing up fighting crime with a bow :-) Canary, even with the shock value of seeing her attacker, was looking directly at her - trained by the league of shadows, she's not able to defend herself against arrows that she can see coming? Arrow and Merlin can.
This is the first time in the show that Ive felt it was a bit weak, a lot of built up with the whodunnit nature, a few fake outs and then the actual killer was just weak sauce - I could understand if she was attacked from behind and didn't see it coming but oh well.
Other than that, its a great show and looking forward to more Ras and seeing how Oliver makes a return to the living :-)
