Thanks Clay!!

Clay, what a great weekend at my first convention. Thanks again for hookin' me up with Kirkman's signature. I couldn't be happier with my Invincible statue.. haha... I'm in Seattle another week, he's on "display" in my hotel room. He's gorgeous, man. His colors are BEYOND vibrant, like I was saying at the convention.. but this is nothing you don't already know. I can't think David(ian) enough either, for introducing me to you initially. It was a pleasure meeting the young lady behind your counter also, but I'm so burned out I forget her name now (Was it Shelly/Shelley?)... My apologies.. she was a gracious host. I'm assuming she's.. your wife? Your enthusiasm for your work is clearly visible, and totally deserving...the presentation you did on Sunday only further proves you care about each and every piece you put out.

All the best, Clay... I'm looking forward to future pieces from you. The few statues I buy I keep in my art gallery downstairs, but Invincible's going upstairs, on top of a low armoire.. haha.. my wife will have to learn to love it.
So much for only sticking with Bowen's stuff. I was cheating myself out of equally awesome sculptures from you and your crew.

Thanks Again,

Ryan

Now go finish reading Planet Hulk.

Hi Ryan,
Clay here. Thanks for the kind words. It was good meeting you at the show, too. Meeting collectors in person is one of the best things about going to shows. I'm glad that Robert Kirkman was there and could sign your Invincible piece. He's a great guy and a gem to work with.
Congrats again on the superb Lopresti art pieces, too. I hear there's a trade out of the Planet Hulk saga and I need to see about getting that!
Hope to see you again.
Clay
ps-The lovely Ms. Myers is my fiancee and the brains of the outfit.

You'll see me again.. I saw some statues I want to pick up.. haha.

Was a pleasure meeting your fiancee. A very warm individual (hopefully she doesn't get carpal tunnel from all the pictures Dave and I had her take.. haha).

Robert Kirkman was awesome, I can't thank you enough for getting me that signature. It turns out someone else from the forums was there also, and they procured something from him for me as well (to give to my bro-in-law for Christmas, he'll love it). What a great guy.

Yeah...thanks.. I love the pages I picked up. Not done buying Lopresti's art from Planet Hulk...I love the Caiera character in it, and how she humanized the green brute. Thank God my gallery's a converted 2.5 car garage.. plenty of room for statues and original art.. haha. Plus, it's all out of my wife's reach.

Anyways, get back to sculpting. See you at SDCC, if you're going. That'll be my second convention ever, and probably one of my last.. my wife's expecting.

Ryan
