His 17 inch Kull and his enormo Conan the Conqueror demonstrate that Moore studios can go big. Even their Vampirella from years ago stands tall. I wouldn't say his studio sculpts entirely small.

I think that they are the perfect height for what they are. I wouldn't want my Brandy or Calie statues to be any bigger than they are, and with the amount of stuff going on on their bases, they are virtually diorama's.

If Angelus was any bigger I'd never find anywhere to display her. She also has far more detail than many of the large Sideshow ladies which they charge a lot more money for. I'd rather have something small but perfectly formed than pay a fortune just because something is a bit bigger. Moore Statues are quality from start to finish, just look at Darkness.

I like the smaller scale personally. I think they are large enough and the 1/4 scale is WAY more expensive and hogs much more space.
But I buy either and other scales as well. If I like it I will get it.

I would seriously consider that if they did it in non-faux bronze. It's a beauty. I have the smaller version but it's a little too small for my collection so I keep it separate, still a nice piece. I may call to see if I can get an unpainted version of the 1/1 methinks.
I hope he continues to be diverse and give offerings in all scales. I wouldn't mind seeing more 1/2 and 1/1 scale statues.
