I think some of you need to see this piece in person to get a real sense of how nice it looks.

Does anyone have a really awesome shelf or cabinet they use for this piece? I have cats, and would not be able to leave her on any shelf that has no door.

I found a few at Ikea, but was wondering if anyone could measure her total width (with wingspan) and depth? I know she's about 31" tall.

I have a cat too and my smaller statues are kept behind glass. Jean is kept on top of my case, within jumping distance. However, given the weight of this piece, I don't think a cat could move it! Once the kitty noticed it didn't budge, it would lose interest.

Plus there are no loose, moveable parts to keep a cat enticed. I'm more worried about my cat getting interested in the SS Storm cape that's next to Jean.

I know I posted her size MANY pages back. I can measure again tomorrow if you can't find it during a thread search.

If you could, I would really appreciate it. The thread is 600 pages LOL.

I'm going cabinet shopping this weekend. I've seen pics of her in a Besta, so the cabinet I'm looking at should work.

Provided the lower glass shelf is removable.

I did a time line of all the portrait changes. It is probably far back in the thread, they always started great and then XM would rework them. The reworks wouldn't improve them.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

This statue was designed before Artgerm did his art. Sideshow kinda started this practice, but companies are designing a statue and then having him come in afterwards to base his art off of their design (like him trying to make the fugly Supergirl PF from SS look good)

Grats!! Now I just hope she gets to you in excellent condition. IMO, she still is #1 in my favorite XM statues thus far. Black Bolt is a very, very, close second though and Thor a distant third.

I'm loving some of the pics of a certain custom head I've seen online.

When she arrives next week, I will be displaying the up-swept hair head with the white eyes.
That's the only way I display mine. I don't even bother with any of the other heads.

Agreed 100%. A masterpiece of a statue...just conceptually, paint app, pose, everything.
