Hi Guys,

Anybody able to help me out getting Leinil Yu to do head shot of Capatain Marvel (Shazam) on my Justice League jam piece at Supanova.

http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryP...19&GSub=116827

I will compensate for their time as i cannot make it or return the favour in future convention.

Thanks

Does anyone know if Ashley Wood will be doing sketches/commissions at the con? I would like to get something from him in my Marvel villains sketchbook, but I have no idea of whether he'd be interested.

Royd would have a better idea, but I'm thinking it would be doubtful. To my knowledge he hasn't done any sketching when he has been at Supanova in Perth.

Wrothy's correct as far as Supanova Perth goes although Ash has done a few free "quickie" sketches at the show. I've also seen him do free "quickie" sketches at San Diego but nothing detailed and he normally doesn't like to do detailed pieces.

Ash usually attends Supanova Perth to do a Q&A and/or a couple of hours signing at his table. The difference with Adelaide will be that he'll be there for much of the 2 days. It's possible he'll take on a request but I wouldn't bank on it.

He did mention to me a few days back that he was thinking of having some exclusive prints at the show as he did at Supanova Perth in June. He did a very small number (I think around 25 for 2 separate prints) of prints which were done on museum quality paper.

These are often re-sold for high amounts and he only charged around $25.00 (I think) for them. Best,

Royd

Cool, I might just try my luck on a print, I'm way too shy to ask if there's any chance of upsetting/annoying the man.

Just to let people know about Supanova guest, Duncan Rouleau's (Ben 10 co-creator and comics artist who has worked for Marvel, DC etc.) con sketch rates.

Duncan said that he charges nothing for quick head sketches (particularly for kids) and more detailed pieces as follows:

Torso shots (pen & ink) - US$50.00
Full Body (pen & ink) - US$120.00
Multiple figures (pen & ink) - US$250.00 upwards

I was also personally very disappointed that Peter is unable to attend this tour but we tried our best to find another main GoT cast member in Lena Headey for Brisbane and trying to locate another one for Adelaide.
