Some on here would not remember her or know who she is but there are a lot of us who grew up with her every Saturday night insulting Phyllis and saying "Awe Mare".
She also turned the world on with a smile and like so many celebrities passing from the past few years, a little piece of my childhood has also passed some as well.
RIP Valerie (however it is nice to know that you and Mary are hanging out in a nice split level apt now)
