I believe what he is doing is showing that the head is fully sculpted to the hairline, as the hair in all these photos so far is covering up the ears.
I was curious how she would look with her hair blowing back, so I'm glad to see that demonstrated in the vid.
There was another, unlicensed bust not too long ago where I though the hair was perfect, and displayed better than either of these two otherwise more professional looking pieces. IIRC, on that one the hair was brushed back, exposing the ears.

Based on the teaser pic a few days ago, I didn't think I was going to like the Queen base, but with the color scheme displayed, I'm digging it more than the IS now.
The IS pose definitely has it's advantages- especially if the main viewing angles will be more left of center (the figure's left side/ viewers right).
And yeah, hopefully the direct competition will pay dividends in the pricing. Although Queen is early out of the gate with a small sample of their production quality and packing (the Iron Spiderman bust), which, other than some small paint issues, was supposed to be high.
