I bought one of these on ebay a year or two ago for about 300 I think. In all that time I've only ever seen it offered once more and that sold for a similar price.

The one I got was pretty good, mint condition with a decent paintjob.

I researched this piece on the Internet and at the time of release there was a rumor of an Artist's Proof "flesh" version.

Sorta like the "flesh" and regular Lady Death bust.

Does ANYONE here have any idea if this is true or not?

Our knowledge base is so extensive on statues now that it is hard to imagine a statue like this existing without SOMEONE out there either owning it, knowing about it, or having a pic of it.

Thoughts?

Little hope for anything new.

SOMEONE from Art Asylum or Diamond Select or a collector out there has to have some info about whether the "flesh" edition is real or an urban myth.

It just seems impossible to me with the number of collectors on here that this statue would be so mysterious.
