I think these sell for so much because originally Padme wasn't meant to be an exclusive. I was getting ready to order it from my LCS when all of a sudden I hear it's a GG.com/starwarsshop.com shared exclusive. I'm so glad I knew in advance and was able to order it for retail. I'm tempted to sell it but I don't want to break up the set.

I think it will increase in value seeing that more animated style maquettes are being released. Collector's who start picking up the new ones will want to go back and get the others.

I'd say its nearly impossible to find one uner 600 nowadays.
I am still regreting the one Brian's toys had in stock in 2005, was priced 300 =(
