This is hands down one of the best predator paint ups I've seen and I've seen some of the best from Joe DunwAy who specializes in painting predator. Man I wish I could get this

The dreds like me and you discussed before were not placed correctly. In RaddTitan video...they said XM took a long time to get the dreds in and even then it is still not right.

Ben confirmed Predator is still being tweaked (base, dreds, etc.).

I would love this as a stand alone piece in a movie room. One can dream!

Based on a count from earlier (unpainted) pics, it looks like there's 28 dreds - which is pretty normal for Narin.

So - must be down to the way this was assembled on-site (* phew! *)

The dreds being correctly positioned will fix the "balding" look - if you compare to the unpainted shots, the PAINTED one has been assembled with dreds pointing in the wrong directions - with some even over the backpack (when they are meant to split around it).

Quills IS vexing though. Looks OK without, but I'd prefer WITH.

Core price is fine for something of this size & quality - it's the shipping that is likely to kill it for me.

Shame - I easily passed on the "Bad Blood" prepaint because I already had a couple of the kits (and it was poorly painted) - and I may have to pass on this too. "Gasp, Shock, Horror!" given I have several copies (built & unbuilt) of just about EVERY kit Narin has ever released

Still wondering why they went 1/3 and not 1/4.

Maybe P1 has 1/4 all tied up?

As much as i love it i don't want 1/3.

Narin has a history of making his stuff a bigger then the scale that it's listed as. Maybe he made it a bit too big again :P

I'm going to make enemies but I think that the small head with huge dreads and the not so natural pose ruins this statue...
This is very sad (for me) because the paint is outstanding and the sculpt is excellent (except the head)
On the bright side, it's money saved ^^

Can't wait to see this again completed with a painted base and correctly positioned dreds. I personally think this is a beautiful piece but with that said the sheer size is overwhelming, basically 1 meter in height is insane but then again this could be the center piece to someones man cave or home theater at least that's how I would display him.

I'm torn between this piece by itself which I most likely would get or be forced to get 3-4 transformers which would destroy me financially in regards to buying anything thing else.

At least I got Weapon X PO locked down so I'm good so far but I really want to buy one more piece from this show and this one is a top contender.

I also love this piece, but the 1/3 scale kills it for me because I don't want to get into that scale. I'm finding out quickly that display space and storage is becoming a premium.

The Predator is actually meant to be made 1/4 scale but like someone stated, it wound up being a little bigger than 1/4. It's in a similar situation to the SS Wolf Predator statue. A tweener statue if you will.

What most of you may want to take into account is how this Predator will match up with the Alien coming from XM. It is going to be a monster of a statue with one of the most complex and involving concepts I have seen on a statue...and certainly the most intricate and most involving Alien concept to date.

I don't know if you fellow collectors remember me stating a long time ago that Starscream was just as impressive, if not more so than Optimus Prime. Well...take my word for it...the Alien concept makes this Predator pale in comparison potentially.

So keep all this in mind when thinking about buying Predator. Also, this will also go great with anything Prime 1 does Predator related because it too is 1/3.
