Vega is a revisit of sorts...as the first of the Ultra line.

I'm assuming the Alpha character is Charlie.

And there's a Third Strike character later this year too who I assume is in SFV. I would think Dudley, Gill or Urien.

Looking fwd to Oni.

Would be surprised if Blanka does anything for me.....but I said that about Dhalsim and he turned out great.

3rd Strike character could be Ibuki too, couldn't it? She's had her own comic series, Play Arts Kai figure, statue, one of of only two SF3 characters to get a SOTA Figure--she's pretty popular.

I said that about Balrog......and then Honda......ended up with both.

On the other hand, I was more excited with Dhalsim and ended up being disappointed

Glad the previous sculpt was scrapped as based on what had been seen it was a no go. I definitely think Blanka will be a challange.

Actually, looking back I would say there's a few more than I thought.

Dudley
Ibuki
Yun
Yang
Elena
Makoto
Hugo

But since Jerry seems to be holding back the announcement I think it's going to be a SFV character who comes from Third Strike and wasn't in USFIV. Like say....

Gill or Urien. Or maybe Sean....

But if I was NOT overthinking it I'd say you are right (I keep changing my mind). Ibuki makes sense.

Did Jerry say he's working on Hugo or not?
I know he always felt Hugo would be too big and expensive for a more obscure character.

Balrog I thought would always be awesome.

Dhalsim I thought would suck but turned out IMO to be quite a stunning feat of sculpture and engineering.

And Honda, well, I kind of like the idea of a big fat character. I always wanted a Rufus.

The issue I have with Blanka is probably that I think he's a cheap ass character (in-game) and he's a green monster. And Ono has made him more of a joke.

I think there's two ways to go with Blanka.
1. Hilarious weird monster who loves Momma.
2. Scary ass beastly creature with ridiculously over the top muscles, etc.

I'd prefer the latter but think it will be the former.

It's not my cup of tea but I think a lot of people will like Blanka....some will like him because he's a monster.

And I know Blanka has been in approval hell for 3 or 4 years....different poses, etc.

Now what I really want to know is will they put the white streak in Akuma's hair for SFV? I prefer without but bizarrely I'm getting white hairs on my head (I'm a red head / ginger) in the same place. So I guess they did their research!

The revisit's where for the original mixed media line.

Or am I getting confused???

Charlie would be cool, different heads and arm for pre monster nash would be great!

You are correct. The issue was just a little confused because Jerry referred to PCS "revisiting" characters that have already been done, rather than saying that they will in fact be "Revisits". Semantics...
