I think the modern Nova is one of Bowen's best and I'm not even a fan of the character.

Yeah, once I let go of a statue I consider them gone forever. So considering how much I've been going back and forth with Nova, I think I'll ultimately hold on to him.

No doubt ,the Kucharek Brothers designs and sculpts for BD are incredible.

Modern Nova is one Bowen piece I regret selling. At the time the rationale was not having any affinity to the character and not how awesome the sculpt was. Over the years character familiarity has become less important to quality of the sculpture.

Marvel's killer Space-Epic, Annihilation had either just wrapped up or was still rolling out when the Modern Nova statue from Bowen hit. I knew then that it was a must buy because it so represented Rich Rider/Nova in that tale. I bought it then & am so glad I did. Have been reading my Annihilation Omnibus recently & the look is perfect. Love my Modern Nova fs.
