I have the Avengers Beast statue as well and it is a George Perez drawing in statue form-simply a fantastic statue

The Jim Lee inspired Beast bust is pretty great. You can still nab one of those for a decent price.

I do see your point about the X-Men base
The avengers beast base is rather large but it does not overpower or overshadow the character
