mwf6171 was kind enough to supply me with a few pieces to practice on. Thanks Michael!

Here's a colorization of a Boba Fett piece by Wayne Nichols.

I enjoyed doing it, so I hope you like the way it came out.

Here's the original for reference.

Statman, Ive played around a bit with digital art too as part of my job, but how did you learn your approach to coloring? Ive seen plenty of tutorials but none that have come off as cool as that Cap :-)

Hey Rod! Funny you should ask that. I actually started working on your Nightcrawler last night after I finished this Boba Fett. I'll probably have it finished tonight.

I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you...

Actually, it was through trial and error. I've learned some techniques from my 18 year old son and some from tutorials. Honestly, the Cap piece and the Hulk v Cap were done through layering multiple copies of the greyscale work that have been color adjusted. Each layer was set to a color, red , blue, green, etc., then working down, I erased the top layer to reveal the color underneath. Kinda backwards, but it works for these greyscale marker pieces. Don't know if that made any sense, but that's how I did it.
