Caught this on the Movie Channel yesterday. I give the visuals a solid 9/10, but other than that there was no reason whatsoever to watch this train wreck. I couldn't even ferret out a coherent plot with everything being thrown at me. That along with lead actor Dane DeHaan doing his best to channel Keanu Reeves (cuz why?) and I lost interest extremely quickly. Turned it off after half an hour.
Just goes to show that all the jazzy special effects in the world (and they were really quite good) can't produce a movie worth watching if the story has no grab.

I'm not surprised you couldn't deffer plot with only 30mins of viewing...

Deadpool 2 - 8/10 - A solid sequel that managed to feel like a continuation while adding some new elements. I do hope the third movie doesn't feel the need to rehash certain bits (Green Lantern) that feel done now.

deadpool 2 - 7.5/10
wasnt as funny as i had heard, at least to me but i did find myself laughing out loud a couple times. felt a little slow and too many doom and gloom moments which i had a hard time taking seriously because its deadpool. i still prefer the first which i gave a 9/10
cable and domino, the secret villain cameo and post credit scenes were awesome

Although funny (not going to lie, I did laugh), most of those scenes felt vindictive from Ryan Reynolds. That’s one of my beefs with the film. It is hard to separate the actor from the character. Ultimately, the goal is to have a Deadpool movie and not a Reynolds all out stravanganza.

Jaws - 4/10
First time I've seen it so no nostalgia kick for me. I'm guessing it hasn't aged well. It almost felt like I was watching "Duel" except with a shark instead of a big truck.

30 minutes is roughly 25% of most movies. If you haven't exposed the plot by then, you've wasted a lot of time and money.

Deadpool 7/10
The portly kid really ruined a lot of the movie as did the rehashed or sometimes forced jokes. I agree with everyone in that the first movie was superior. Cable was desperately needed in this movie and helped carry it the distance.
